Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our growing construction and maintenance team. The role involves delivering high quality carpentry works across a range of commercial and residential environments.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out first and second fix carpentry works
Install, maintain and repair doors, frames, architraves and ironmongery
Assist with fire door installations, inspections and remedial works where required
Read and work from drawings and specifications
Ensure all work meets required quality, safety and compliance standards
Liaise professionally with site managers, colleagues and clients
Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
Skills & Experience Needed
Proven experience as a Carpenter within commercial or domestic environments
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Carpentry preferred
Fire door installation experience advantageous but not essential
Good understanding of health and safety requirements
Strong attention to detail and workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence preferred
